A buddhist monk. They can join the monastery as young children or choose to join the monastery later in life. But once a monk you should stay a monk. I guess they don't say nice things about ex-monks.

At a monastery in Paro, Bhutan. Insense burning can be done for many things such as ceremonies. But you can also burn insense as a gift to the gods to bring good weather.
