Up and Down

This is the high alpine lake where we decided skip rocks. All of sudden Sonam our guide comes running and yelling at us to stop. Deities or gods live in the lakes and for sure bad weather will come if you make the Deity angry. Of course we laughed at the superstition, but 10 minutes later climbing up our highest pass of 5000 meters or around 16,500 feet we had hail, snow, and thunder. I think we angered the gods!
